1. Introduction and Policy Statement

Grange Investments Ltd is committed to preventing acts of modern slavery and human trafficking from occurring within its business and its supply chains. This policy applies to all employees, operations, and any projects we undertake or manage. We have a zero-tolerance approach to any form of modern slavery and are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all business dealings and to implementing effective systems and controls to safeguard against it.

2. Our Business and Structure

Grange Investments Ltd, incorporated in Kampala, Uganda, on 

18th January 2011, is a consulting firm that provides personalised financial and operational solutions to both government and corporate clients. Our services include streamlining expenditure, identifying investment opportunities, and providing comprehensive plans to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across various sectors.

3. Our Supply Chains

As a consulting and solutions-focused business, our direct supply chain is primarily composed of professional service providers and technology partners. In the delivery of certain projects, we may also procure specialised hardware and electronic components. We recognise that a potential risk of modern slavery can exist within the manufacturing stages of physical goods and are committed to ensuring our suppliers meet the high ethical standards we expect.

4. Our Commitment and Due Diligence

We are committed to ensuring there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business. Our commitment is reflected in the following principles:

• Supplier Adherence: We expect all those in our supply chain to comply with our values. We conduct due diligence on our suppliers and will not knowingly support or deal with any business involved in slavery or human trafficking.
• Ethical Employment: We are committed to fair employment practices for all our staff, including fair wages, reasonable working hours, and a safe working environment.
• Recruitment: We conduct robust checks on any new employee to verify their identity and ensure they are eligible to work.

5. Responsibility and Training

The board of directors of Grange Investments Ltd has overall responsibility for ensuring this policy complies with our legal and ethical obligations. We will provide training to relevant members of staff to help them recognise and address the risks of modern slavery in our business and supply chains.

6. Reporting Concerns

We encourage all employees, customers, and business partners to report any concerns related to the direct activities, or the supply chains, of the organisation. This can be done in confidence, and the company will investigate all claims thoroughly.
